How to apply for the certificate

The applicant's signature on the application and the personal information requested must be authenticated by any notary public or the German Embassy in Kuwait. The fee for authentication at the German Embassy is the equivalent of € 56,43 to be paid in KWD cash in the Consular Section.

Kindly bring your valid passport along together with the completed application form.

Additionally, a fee for the issuing of the certificate (currently € 13,-) has to be transferred by you in advance directly to the Bundesamt für Justiz (see payment details on application form).
